Camera Ready Submission Instructions

You must take the following steps for your submission to be presented at the conference and to appear in the proceedings.

Papers (Regular and Student)

  1. Address in your paper any issues pointed out by the reviewers.
  2. Ensure that your paper follows the ACM standard. Proceedings templates to create a camera-ready copy are available in MS Word and LaTeX. These templates are located at: http://www.acm.org/sigs/pubs/proceed/template.html.  A hard limit of 5–6 pages will be enforced. This means your paper must be at least 5 pages long, but no more than 6 pages. Be sure that your paper is compliant.
  3. Your paper must contain the following on the bottom of the left-hand column on the first page: 

    Permission to make digital or hard copies of all or part of this work for personal or classroom use is granted without fee provided that copies are not made or distributed for profit or commercial advantage and that copies bear this notice and the full citation on the first page. To copy otherwise, or republish, to post on servers or to redistribute to lists, requires prior specific permission and/or a fee.

  1. You must complete the ACM proceedings copyright form that will be sent to you by email from ACM. This form must be completed by February 24, 2012.
  2. At least one author must register by March 9, 2012 for the conference AND attend the conference.  If registration is cancelled prior to March 23, the paper will not appear in the program or proceedings.  The presenter of a paper must be an author of the paper being presented, and presenting authors must be properly registered conference attendees.
    • If your paper was submitted in the category of REGULAR PAPERS:
      The author must register at the MEMBER OR NON-MEMBER RATE. If an author is sole or joint author of more than one paper or poster, then THAT author's registration will cover all papers and posters for which the author is sole or joint author.
    • If your paper was submitted in the category of  STUDENT PAPERS:
      The student author must register at the STUDENT AUTHOR rate.
  3. The final PDF version of your paper must be uploaded to the conference management system by February 24, 2012.
  4. Each presentation at the conference will have a 20 minute time slot, which includes 3-5 minutes for questions.  The presentation room will be supplied with a MS Windows computer including MS PowerPoint and a projector. It is suggested that presenters arrive early to their presentation sessions with their presentation on a thumb drive or other portable media.

Posters (Regular and Student)

  1. Address in your poster abstract any issues pointed out by the reviewers.
  2. Ensure that your paper follows the ACM standard. Proceedings templates to create a camera-ready copy are available in MS Word and LaTeX. These templates are located at: http://www.acm.org/sigs/pubs/proceed/template.html. The hard limit of 2 pages will be enforced. Be sure that your paper is compliant.
  3. Your paper must contain the following on the bottom of the left-hand column on the first page:
