Graduate Information
Undergraduate Programs
The undergraduate program in computer science consists of 120 hours of study, and is designed to give a broad overview of the foundations of the discipline, focusing on fundamental concepts that can be applied in any environment and situation. The department has defined a set of Student Outcomes for all graduates from our program.
Graduate Programs
The Department of Computer Science offers interdisciplinary graduate programs leading to the Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. Students in the Masters program may pursue either a thesis or non-thesis option.
Research activity in the department includes active investigations in software engineering, networks, database management, systems, algorithms, programming languages, parallel and distributed computation, and human-computer interaction.
